After submitting a simple motion against the minister of health last week, on March 3 the Socialist MPs proposed a simple motion against Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Iurie Chirinciuc, IPN reports.
Socialist MP Vasile Bolea said there is chaos in the field of transport. The minister makes mistakes and shows lack of performance, while the state-run company “Moldova’s Railways” has salary arrears of over 130 million lei. The Socialists demanded that the arrears should be cleared and that a state program to support the enterprise should be worked out.
According to the Socialists, the National Auto Transport Agency should be reorganized as this absorbs large sums of money. The salary of an employee can rise to 20,000 lei, but there is no efficiency there.
Within 14 days, the Parliament’s Standing Bureau is to decide when the motion will be examined by the MPs.
