Members and sympathizers of the Party of Socialists protested in front of the Parliament Building where the Standing Bureau was holding a meeting, demanding that the bills concerning the resignation of the head of state and a number of government functionaries and the censure motion against the Strelet Government should be included in the agenda of the Parliament’s sittings, IPN reports.

Socialist MP Grigore Novac said the current government, if it still has dignity, should leave voluntarily. If the rulers do not leave, the Socialists will make everything possible to remove them and to hold accountable those who committed illegalities.

“Yesterday, a number of parliamentary commissions approved the draft laws on the dismissal of a number of officials. Now we demand that these bills should be included in the agenda of the Parliament’s sittings and, if they say that they have nothing to do with the stolen billion, we will see how they vote,” stated the lawmaker.

The Socialists prepared a number of draft decisions by which the seek the dismissal of the President, the Government, the administration of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the National Anticorruption Center, the National Integrity Commission, the Central Election Commission and of other bodies.
