Special Interior Ministry subdivision will protect witnesses

The Ministry of the Interior will have a special subdivision that will deal with the protection of witnesses and other participants in trials, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. The similar subdivisions working at the Security and Information Service, the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, the Customs Service and the Department of Penitentiary Institutions of the Ministry of Justice will be closed. The Government considers that a special subdivision with increased capacity, empowered with the protection of the injured parties, witnesses and other persons involved in trials, will work more efficiently.
