Specialists from five countries to gather at symposium in Chisinau

Specialists from five countries will be taking part in the 12th international symposium “Romanians from Outside Borders” that will open in Iasi on November 12. The event will continue in Chisinau the next day with a roundtable meeting themed “Human Rights, Democracy and State of Law”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a communique from the Association for Romanian Literature and Culture, the symposium will include four divisions: Romanian history and civilization; Romanian language and literature; Religion and spirituality, and Petru Comarnescu (1905-1970). A number of books will be launched during the event, including “If I forget you, Bessarabia...” by Valeriu Graur, and “Pro Bucovina. Historical and National Reference Points”, coordinated by Mihai-Bogdan Atanasiu and Mircea-Cristian Ghenghea.
The over 60 specialists will come from Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Germany, and France.
In Chisinau, the symposium will take place at the National Museum of Archeology and History of Moldova. It will end with the opening of the ASTRA Cultural Center “Mihai Eminescu” in Anenii Noi on November 14.
