A Romanian citizen driving a KIA Ceed caused a road accident on the Chisinau-Leuseni street, in Ialoveni district. Paulina Iakimovski, senior PR specialist at the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 21-year-old driver was going to Romania. As he was speeding, the car skidded on the wet road and overturned. The young man was rushed to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital. Speeding was the cause of another accident that happened on the Chisinau-Dubasari street. A Dacia-Logan driven by a 26-year-old man skidded and overturned. The passenger aged 49 suffered a trauma of the backbone and was taken to the hospital. A 33-year-old woman from Ungheni driving an Opel-Astra made a U-turn and crashed into a truck. A female passenger aged 45 suffered different injuries. Three persons were injured in a collision between two cars in Drochia town. They were taken to the hospital with different bodily injuries. Seven persons were injured in five road accidents in Moldova yesterday and last nigh. The traffic police identified 327 drivers who broke the traffic rules. Three of them were under the influence, 22 traveled with the seat belt not fastened, while 38 were speeding.
