StarNet launches free WiFi in Singerei

On May 6 Singerei had a double holiday celebrating the town's patron saint day and the inauguration of the first free WiFi zone in the park and square of the House of Culture, which has thus become the most attractive area for leisure and entertainment, the internet company StarNet said in a press release. “The inauguration of the WiFi zone is one of the most important launches for StarNet here in Singerei, following the inauguration of our subsidiary in the town in late 2011, which has brought superior Internet, Television and Telephony services. We are proud to have acquired hundreds of customers in Singerei in half a year. I think that starting today, thanks to the WiFi zone, their number will increase to thousands. Everybody can now enjoy free access to the Internet, here in open air”, stated Iurie Cujba, head of StarNet's Singerei Regional Center. Connected to free WiFi, the park and the square of the town's House of Culture have become attraction sites for all the locals, who can now spend their free time communicating on the Internet, browsing their favorite sites and checking their emails. Singerei has become the fifth town where StarNet inaugurated a free WiFi zone. Besides Singerei, thousands of people each day use StarNet's free WiFi locations in Chisinau, Ungheni, Soroca and Hincesti.
