The Government agreed the state order for admission to higher education institutions on budget-funded places for 2021-2022. There will be provided 8,670 budget-funded places, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

Under the decision, 5,040 persons will be admitted to undergraduate studies, to 26 general areas of study, 3,081 persons will be admitted to graduate or Master’s studies, while 443 persons to residency and secondary clinical studies.

Also, 262 budget-funded places with a special purpose are intended for school graduates from the eastern districts of the country.

15% or 756 places of all the budget-funded places are allocated for socially disadvantaged persons, primarily young people who remained without parental care and persons with a disability degree.

As many as 106 budget-funded places will be provided to foreign students, namely 76 to undergraduate or Bachelor’s studies and 30 to Master’s studies.
