The State Tax Service has launched the national contest Fiscal Lottery under the title “Support official payments, support national economy”. Corina Pavlischuk, division head at the State Tax Service, in a press briefing said any citizen who turned 18 automatically becomes a participant in the Fiscal Lottery when paying with the card for any service or purchase to the value of minimum 30 lei. Only the transactions performed with cards issued by licensed banks operating in Moldova take part, IPN reports.
The winners will be chosen quarterly. There will be offered 175 awards of 1,000 lei each. The draws will be held automatically through the agency of the platform random.org.
The first draw will be held on April 16. Besides the four quarterly editions, there will also be staged two special editions, one on Easter and another one on the occasion of the winter holidays. As many as 100 awards of 1,500 lei each will be provided in the special editions.
The awards will be transferred to winners’ card accounts within ten days of the publication of the list of winners on the official website of the State Tax Service.
The awards will not be taxed.
