The State Weather Service has issued a ‘code yellow’ warning for storms, accompanied by wind, hail and thunder, covering the entire territory of Moldova.
In some areas rainfall is predicted to be heavy (15-25 liters per square meter), with hail and gusty wind blowing at speeds of 15-20 m/s.
Temperatures at night will average 14 degrees in the north and 18 degrees in the south.
The warning will remain in place until next midnight.
