Parliament on July 30 gave a vote of confidence to the Government headed by Valeriu Strelet. The Cabinet was invested by the votes of 52 MPs of the Liberal Democratic Party, the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party, IPN reports.
The MPs of the Party of Socialists and the Party of Communists voted against, while unaffiliated lawmakers Iurie Leanca, Eugen Carpov and Nicolae Juravschi abstained.
Valeriu Strelet said he counts on team spirit and has full confidence in the current governmental team. He also said that he banks on the synergy between the Government and Parliament and on efficient cooperation. According to the Premier, only together, in the service of the people, can they manage to achieve what they planned.
After the investiture, the ministers are to swear an oath before President Nicolae Timofti.
