Moldovan footballer Alexandru Suvorov was disqualified for a period of six months by the disciplinary commission of the Polish Football Association. The decision was taken following the incidents in which the footballer was involved in the August 26 encounter between Zaglebie and Krakow of the fifth stage of the Polish championship. In the 84th minute, Suvorov scored a goal, but the referee annulled it. Dissatisfied, the Moldovan halfback treated rudely Radoslaw Trochimiuk, who immediately sent him off. Alexandru Suvorov is one of the leading players of the Krakow team, which now rank last in Poland’s championship. The 24-year-old halfback scored two goals in five games played. Krakow can appeal to the Discipline Commission of the Polish Football League against the decision. If the suspension decision remains unchanged, Suvorov will return to the field at the start of next year.
