The Democratic Party on September 18 announced that the place of Svetlana Cebotari at the Ministry of Health will be taken by ex-acting mayor of Chisinau Silvia Radu, IPN reports.
“I came to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection with the aim of doing reforms and improving the situation in both of the sectors. It was a real challenge, especially in the social sphere, but in the period we made a determined effort together with my colleagues to identify solutions to improve each sector apart,” the minister wrote on her Facebook page.
Svetlana Cebotari also said that at the National Blood Transfusion Center she will continue to modernize the blood transfusion system of the country, but will simultaneously be ready to offer support to the new minister in these sectors.
Svetlana Cebotari was invested as Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection on January 10 this year.
