The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) rejected the request to adjust the tariffs for the public water supply and sewerage services made by the public utility SA “Apa- Canal Chisinau” (ACC), dismissing it as groundless, IPN reports.
In a communique, the ANRE says that before submitting the tariff rise application, the ACC must have first presented the basic costs, data about technological consumption and water losses in the public water supply and sewerage system and other justificatory documents.
Given that the operator didn’t meet the aforementioned conditions and based on the current legislation, the Agency rejected the request to examine and approve the new water and sewerage charges.
