Tarsus win futsal derby against Tornado

Tarsus Chisinau won the derby against Tornado Chisinau in the Moldovan Futsal Championship. After the 5-3 victory, Tarsus leveled Tornado on points and surpassed them in the table, having a better goal difference. The dramatic derby of matchday 17 was played on February 27. Tornado was leading 2-0 at half-time, after goals from Valeriu Baiesu and Dorin Coceban. Miahai Iavorschi added the third after the break. However, within 12 minutes, Oleg Soimu and his players pulled out an incredible comeback and won the match 5-3. Two other title contenders obtained clear victories. Lexmax Chisinau trashed KLP 9-1, while JLC bested Moldlift 7-1.
