Teen killed in car accident in Drochia district

A minor aged 17 died when the car in which his was traveling overturned on a road in Drochia district on June 10. The 37-year-old driver was seriously hurt, Drochia Police Commissariat officer Nadejda Valuta has told Info-Prim Neo. The driver lost control of his Ford Tranzit, which skidded and overturned. The boy died on the spot, while the driver and another underage passenger of 17 were taken to the Drochia district hospital. Nadejda Valuta said the driver was rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident. He was in a serious condition and was admitted to the intensive care section. A blood sample was to be taken from him to see if he had drunk. The minor who remained alive was admitted to the traumatology section. The three were coming from Mindic village and heading for Cotova village.
