A 16-year-old teenager from the north of the country was detained in the capital city with a kilogram of hashish when he was placing drugs in secret places for other couriers. In the apartment he rented, police officers also found other types of drugs. The total value of the found narcotic substances on the black market exceeds 1 million lei, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Special Cases, the quantity of hashish was to be taken by other couriers for portioning and distribution to customers. In the apartment rented on the instruction of the leader of the criminal group, significant quantities of marijuana buds, synthetic drugs such as PVP (“salt”) and also packets for storing drugs for sale and small-scale scales were detected.
The teenager came to the capital city once every 10 days to receive wholesale quantities of drugs. Then, he traveled by taxi to the districts of Moldova, where he placed 30 doses in each agreed location so that other couriers could later pick them up and take them to customers.
Following his detention, the teenager was placed under house arrest for 30 days.
