In the course of last year, the MPs examined ten no-confidence motions proposed against the Government, but all of them were rejected by Parliament, shows the statistical report on legislative work done in 2016, to which IPN makes reference.

In 2016, there were held three parliamentary hearings at the request of MPs. Among the main subjects discussed were the results of the verification of subscription lists for holding a constitutional referendum, measures taken to reduce the danger of floods and to support the people affected by these and alimentation of children in education institutions. The MPs asked for relevant information from the competent institutions and authorities.

Last year, Parliament was presented 20 progress reports by specialized institutions of the public administration and institutions that are under parliamentary control. These include the Broadcasting Coordination Council, Central Election Commission, National Center for Personal Data Protection, Council for the Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination and Ensuring of Equality, National Bank, National Integrity Commission, Competition Council, Superior Council of Magistracy and others. Eight of the 20 reports were examined in Parliament.

The statistical report also shows that six special and inquiry commissions and three working groups were constituted by the legislative body to perform particular duties in 2016.
