Thieve killed by cornfield owner

A 58-year-old man caught stealing corn was killed by the owner of the cornfield situated in Valea Florilor village of Hancesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the website of the Ministry of the Interior, the owner aged 38 hit the victim with a metallic pipe in the head for several times. The man died on the spot as a result of the received injuries.
The owner was arrested and faces 12 to 20 years in jail or life imprisonment if found guilty of intentional murder.
