Three Balti candidates presented false data to electoral body

Three independent candidates for councilor of Balti municipality have not been registered as election runners because they submitted false information to the electoral body. These are Alexandru Tureac, Nicolae Spanu and Serghei Iordan. “The lists with signatures of the given candidates included persons who are abroad, persons who do not exist in Moldova or whose personal data were incorrect,” head of the Balti district electoral council Stanislav Sorbalo has told Info-Prim Neo. The list of parties in the ballots for members of the Balti Municipal Council is headed by the PCRM. It is followed by the PSD, Patria Rodina, PLDM, PDM and the PL. Vladimir Tonciuc, of the PLDM, is under No. 1 in the ballots for mayor of Balti. He is followed by Oleg Topolnitski, of the PSD, Vadim Vacarciuc, of the PL, Vasile Panciuc, of the PCRM, Anatolie Harchenko, of the PDM, and Igor Ciuru, of the PPCD.
