Three minors were injured in road accidents on June 1. Tudor Capatana, PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the three children were taken to the hospital with different injuries.
A boy aged 10 from Ulmu village of Ialoveni district was riding a bicycle. He lost control of his vehicle and crashed it into a car. He suffered a concussion and contusions.
A motorcycle overturned on a street in Glodeni town. The 13-year-old minor that was driving the motorbike suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion and other injuries. A passenger of the same age sustained head injuries.
A minibus went out of control and ran into a tree on the Balti-Sarateni road. The driver, 66, and a passenger, 62, were rushed to the district hospital with serious injuries.
Seven persons were injured in five accidents that happened on the national roads on June 1. Another 19 accidents caused no victims. The traffic police fined 40 drivers who were under the influence, 13 drivers traveling unbuckled and 74 speeding motorists.
