The police hunted down a group that recruited and transported Moldovan girls to the Czech Republic for providing sexual services. The group was headed by a citizen of Germany aged 47, who owns a night club in the Czech Republic. He was helped by his 30-year-old partner native of Romanian and a Czech accomplice aged 44, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the suspects came to Moldova to recruit young women through the agency of an advertising newspaper where they published the following announcement: “Women companions in a Night Club in the Czech Republic, salaries of €3,000 to €10,000.” The members of the group made the documents needed by the girls to go abroad, covering all the costs.

The police established that in August the suspects recruited a Moldovan girl and transported her to the Czech town Razvadov. Recently, they intended to transport another girl, but were arrested by the police near a filling station in Chisinau.

The suspects will stay under arrest for 15 days. They are investigated for trafficking in human beings and face up to 15 years in jail.
