Three Guatemalan men suspected of forging money

Three citizens of Guatemala were arrested on suspicion that they forged money and put it in circulation, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime, two of the men were arrested in an apartment in central Chisinau, while the third in a hotel in Balti. In the hotel room, there were found chemical substances and raw material for forging money. According to preliminary information, the three form part of an international group. The foreigners convinced persons to give them euro notes for multiplication as they have technology and equipotent with which to make foreign currency. They retained 70% of the forged sum. The three men face 4 to 8 years behind bars for forging money and putting it in circulation.
