Three Moldovans perish in traffic collision in Russia

Three citizens of Moldova - two men aged 37 and 28 and a 31-year-old woman – died when two cars collided in Meshchovsky District in Kaluga Oblast of Russia at 11:34pm on January 28. A Moldovan man aged 34 suffered injuries and was hospitalized, IPN reports.

Making reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the General Inspectorate for Emergencies of Moldova reported that another four persons, who were foreigners, were hurt in the accident and were hospitalized.

Officers of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies on January 30 will leave for Russia to perform all the procedures required for bringing the bodies of Moldovans home. They will also monitor the state of the driver who was injured and will organize his transportation to Moldova so that he subsequently receives medical care here.

An investigation was started to find out the cause of the accident and who is to blame for this.
