Three persons killed and four injured in one road accident

A serious road accident that occurred near Telenesti town on Thursday morning resulted in three people dead and another four injured, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Interior Ministry's press service, the accident happened on the Balti- Sarateni route at 6.20. A Hyundai Santamo car driven by a 41-year-old man made a U-turn and collided head-on with a Peugeot Expert truck. As a result of the collision, the driver and a 33-year-old passenger of the Hyunday as well as the 24-year-old wife of the truck driver died. Another four persons, including the driver of the truck, were rushed to the hospital with different bodily injuries. The police in Telenesti are investigating the case. A Honda car crashed into a ZIL truck at the intersection of Hasdeu and Vasile Alecsandri Streets in Chisinau this morning. The car was badly damaged, but the three occupants were not hurt as they had the seat belts buckled.
