The provision of the labor market with skilled personnel, the decease in the interest rate on bank loans for young families and the training of the persons working for trade unions are some of the objectives set by the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova in the strategy for 2012 – 2017. The new strategy will be discussed in the second Congress of Trade Unions on June 7, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Confederation’s chairman Oleg Budza told a news conference on May 30 that they are now discussing the problem of lack of skilled workers in a number of fields with Prime Minister Vlad Filat and representatives of the National Employers Confederation of Moldova and are trying to find solutions so as to stop the labor migration. Another problem that will be included in the agenda of the congress is the banking policy that should be reformed so that the exaggerated interest rates are decreased. Oleg Budza said that a young man with an average salary of 2,500 lei needs 52 years to buy a house by taking out a bank loan. The strategy for 2012 – 2017 will also envision the creation of a commission for social dialogue. A group of specialists will carry our inspections at different companies all over Moldova so as to create a network of young trade union specialists who will be able to take over posts in this state institution. The National Confederation of Trade Unions allocates about 1 million lei a year for training staff working for the intuition.
