A number of traders in perishable products from meat and fish were fined following raids performed by patrolling inspectors in the perimeter of the Central Market of Chisinau, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the products from pork, the sausages and fish were sold illegally by traders on the streets Mitropolit Varlaam, Armeneasca and Bulgara in insanitary conditions. The vendors also didn’t have certificates of origin and quality certificates.
These were fined 300 to 400 lei each.
The police warn and recommend the consumers to purchase food products only from shops and stalls.
