Traffic Police officers to undergo physical and intellectual testing

During three weeks, Traffic Police officers throughout the country will undergo physical and intellectual examination. The process is part of the Traffic Police reorganization, for the just appreciation of capacities, abilities, and professional training of the current personnel, reports Info-Prim Neo, quoting a communiqué from the Traffic Police Division. The re-evaluation will have two stages: physical fitness testing and the appraisal of professional capacities and abilities. The physical fitness test will take place between September 24 and 28. The evaluation of professional capacities and abilities will be both written and oral. The test will comprise a set of question related to this professional field. The tests will take place between October 1 and 12. The results will be analyzed by a committee comprised of 11 people from the Anticorruption Center, the academia, and the National Participatory Council. Head of the Traffic Police Division Serghei Diaconu excluded himself from the committee. “The re-evaluation is a mandatory process, which will be taken by all Traffic Police officers. We aim at ensuring a high level of professionalism . The re-evaluation is a form of correct re-directing and redistribution of the institution’s human resources, in accordance to everyone’s knowledge and abilities, as well as in accordance with the necessities that emerged after the establishment of new priorities and work methods at the Traffic Police”, highlighted Serghei Diaconu. Media representatives will be allowed to attend the written stage of the tests.
