Transylvania Library receives donation of over 2,000 books

The Cluj-based Octavian Goga County Library donated more than 2,000 books to the Chisinau Transylvania Library, Info-Prim Neo reports. “It is an older tradition to bring by a gift every time we come to Chisinau,” said Tatiana Costiuc, the head of the Collections Division of Octavian Goga Library. “We are partners with the Chisinau libraries and try to involve them in all the European projects. We want to enrich the culture of the Romanian people.” “This donation of over 2,000 books represents a real treasure as it includes reference books for children, encyclopedias, artistic literature and other types of books,” said Parascovia Onciuc, the director of Transylvania Library. A professional workshop themed “Education Throughout Life: Realities and Trends” takes place at the library on Friday, October 9.
