A passenger minibus on the Chisinau-Cobusca route was hit this morning, August 10, by a truck near the village of Tantareni, in the Anenii Noi district. Three passengers were injured.
Silvia Vetcu, press officer of the Anenii Noi Police Inspectorate, told IPN that initial evidence indicates it was the truck driver’s fault. The latter didn’t respect the minimum distance and hit the minibus from behind.
As a result, three people were injured. Two of them needed medical care on the spot, while the third, a 53 year old woman from Cobusca Veche, was taken to the hospital. She suffered a thoracic contusion, but her condition is stable.
