Turkish Film Festival in Moldova

The Embassy of Turkey in Moldova will stage the Turkish Film Festival during October 4-8, Consul Iozlem Hersan has told Info-Prim Neo. The Turkish films will be screened at the Odeon Movie Theater between 5pm and 8pm. Among them are: “Istanbul Stories”, “Romantic Comedy”, “Bitter Love” ,“The Dragon’s Trap” and others. The movies will be show in the original with English subtitles. The festival is organized on the occasion of the Turkish Culture Days in Moldova. “We have staged the Turkish Culture Days in Moldova for ten years. Unfortunately, we do not manage to organize such festivals every year. In 2009 for example, we mounted the Turkish Theater Festival that involved Turkish actors,” said Consul Iozlem Hersan. He also said that such events are aimed at presenting the Turkish culture all over the world, including in Moldova.
