Turnout of 3.6% in Chisinau municipality at 9.00

Iurie Ciocan, the secretary of the central electoral authority, has announced that 114,106 persons have voted in Moldova by 9.00. Of them, 7,494 have voted on the basis of additional lists. The turnout of voters was 4.32%, Info-Prim Neo reports. 1,330 persons or 8.19% of the voters have cast their ballots in Basarabeasca district. This is the highest turnout in Moldova. The poorest turnout was in Gagauzia – almost 3.6%. The turnout of voters in the municipality of Chisinau was 3.6%, while in Balti – 4%. There were reported no serious irregularities.
