Twelve persons hurt in road accidents during one day

A police officer crashed his car into a tree near Izbiste village of Criuleni district. Tudor Capatana, senior PR specialist at the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the policeman suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. A similar accident happened in Causeni. A car driven by a 55-year-old man skidded and went into a tree. The driver sustained a concussion and contusion of the soft tissues in the lumbar region, while a female passenger aged 25 suffered a concision and hemorrhage in the occipital region. A girl aged 20 was struck by a car driven by a 34-year-old man near Recea, Straseni. She received a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and a fracture of the leg, while the driver sustained a trauma of the thorax and a concussion. Both of them were hospitalized. Twelve persons were hurt in ten accidents on the national roads on May 11. Another 32 accidents caused no victims.
