Twenty two people remain hospitalized after accident in Hancesti

22 people, including two children, remain hospitalized after this morning’s road accident, December 28, which took place between the villages Bozieni and Gura Galbenei in Hancesti district. Five of them are in the intensive care ward. Director of the Hancesti District Hospital Petru Cebotari told Info-Prim Neo that the patients are of various ages, the youngest being aged only 6. They were diagnosed with various traumas: concussions, fractures and were hospitalized in different wards. Five remain in the intensive care ward. Their condition is critical, but stable. The 22 people were injured after the minibuses transporting them were involved in a head-on collision. Three passengers and the driver of one of the minibuses died on the spot. The police suppose one of the drivers tried to pass by another vehicle and departed his lane.
