Two children aged 3 and 5 killed in house fire

Tragedy struck a family from Seliste, Nisporeni. A three-year-old boy and a girl aged five died in a house fire. Deputy commissioner of Nisporeni Nicanor Cechina has told Info-Prim Neo that the firefighters were called at 11.30 and are still on the spot. Liliana Puscasu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, said the fire destroyed the roof of the house and the children’s room. The family had five children. When the fire started, there were only three children at home. They were under the supervision of the daughter of a neighbor. The youngest child – a girl under two – was saved by the girl who was supervising them. It is not yet known where the children’s parents were. The cause of fire is being determined.
