Two children left without supervision saved from fire

A woman from Ciocalteni village of Orhei district died in a fire in her house. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that neighbors saw the flames and rushed to help, but the woman aged 85 was already dead. The cause of fire is being established. In Horesti village of Ialoveni district, the neighbors managed to rescue two children aged 8 and 10 from a fire caused by a faulty stove. The parents went to Chisinau and the minors were home alone. The Ialoveni fire brigade were there in minutes, but the fire damaged the house seriously by then. The family was renting the house. The children received only minor injuries. The body of a 54-year-old woman suffering from mental disorders was taken out of a well in Ciripcau village of Floresti district. An investigation is under way. The 409 fires that happened in Moldova this year resulted in 65 deaths.
