Two Chisinau persons hospitalized with general hypothermia

A man and a woman, apparently homeless persons, were picked up last night by ambulance crews from separate parts of Chisinau after suffering general hypothermia. A spokesperson from the Emergency Service told Info-Prim Neo that the woman, in her mid-50s, was found unconscious on Calea Iesilor Street and was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. The man, 60, was picked up from Bogdan Voievod Street and admitted to the Holy Trinity Hospital. Another man, 42, was hospitalized with a stab wound in the upper abdomen. He told the doctor he didn’t know the attacker, even though he had been stabbed in his own apartment. Police were announced of the case. On Friday and last night the ambulance crews in Chisinau responded to 706 emergency calls.
