Two persons had drowned in Moldova last weekend, IPN reports.
The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service said that a boy aged 15 from Veverita village of Ungheni district went to swim and was engulfed by the water. Rescuers took the body out in an hour.
The second case happened near Paulesti village of Calarasi district. A 54-year-old man swam across the lake, but could not cross it back and drowned. The search was difficult. Frogmen found the body in about three hours.
