Two injured in traffic accident caused by student

Two young men suffered serious injuries in a road accident in Balti municipality last night. Paulina Iakimovski, of the Traffic Police Department's press service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident was caused by a student of the State University “Alecu Russo”. The 21-year-old student broke the traffic rules and struck violently two young men aged 28 and 27. The pedestrians were rushed to a hospital in Balti with cranial-cerebral traumas, arm fractures, abdominal traumas and other serious injuries. One of them is in a coma. An 11-year-old girl from Chisinau was admitted into the intensive care section of chidlren's hospital “Valentin Ignatenko” with a cranial injury. She was hit by a minibus running on route at a crosswalk on Vasile Alecsandri St. The five road accidents that happened in Moldova yesterday and last night resulted in six persons injured.
