Two men, 28 and 30, were sentenced to life in prison for double murder, after the prosecutors challenged a milder sentence.
Initially, the defendants were sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment, but the Court of Appeals ruled the case should be re-tried by a different panel of judges, who agreed with the prosecutors and increased the sentence.
The men were found guilty of stabbing to death a 31-year-old man and his 65-year-old mother after visiting them on the pretext of buying a camera
The sentence is appealable.
