A woman aged 78 from Ciorescu commune, who was admitted to the Emergency Medicine Institute on March 30, and a 68-year-old woman from Tiraspol town succumbed to COVID-19, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Projection.
The Ministry calls on the population to stay at home, to avoid public places and to respect the personal hygiene measures. The elderly people and those with chronic diseases form part of the risk group.
The number of deaths associated with the novel coronavirus in Moldova now came to 35.
