Two Syrians and Moldovan accused of organizing illegal migration

A Moldovan, two Syrians and a legal entity are accused of organizing illegal migration. In a communique, the Prosecutor General’s Office says that in February – July 2014, the two Syrians who lived in Moldova asked for and received €13,000 from two Syrian citizens for making illegal documents for them, based on which these intended to reach Germany, IPN reports.

One of the Syrians, who managed a company in Moldova, involving also the legal entity in this offense, issued a fictitious invitation to the migrants based on which the two got a visa for business and arrived in Chisinau. Afterward, their accomplice, who is a Moldovan national, was to get Schengen visas for the migrants for travelling to Poland. The Moldovan received €3,220 for his services.

The prosecutors sent the case to court. The culprits face up to seven years in jail for organization of illegal migration.
