Two women struck fatally by lightning

Two women died after they were struck by lightning in Falesti and Hancesti districts on May 29 and May 30, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service. The first case happened in Risipeni village, Falesti. A 65-year-old woman was struck by lightning and killed when she was returning home. Another woman aged 48 from Nemteni, Hancesti was struck when she was in the fields. The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service recommends avoiding staying out when it rains with thunder and lightning. A place protected from direct impact should be found when one is out. If in the fields, one should stay rolled and not find refuge under trees.
