Two young men kill fellow for 6,500 lei

Two young men from Chisinau aged 21 and 23 killed another man for 6,500 lei. They were sentenced to 22 and, respectively, 20 years in jail, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Prosecutor General's Office. The two got acquainted with the victim and then drank alcohol together. Afterward, they went to a sauna in Chisinau. The two men saw that their new friend had money and, when going home late at night through the park Valea Trandafirilor, they beat him and stabbed him to death. They took the money and ran away. In an hour, they remembered that the victim had a golden necklace and went back to take it. The young men were found guilty of murder and theft. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
