Two young men killed in traffic accidents

A young man died last night in a road accident that happened near the Chisinau International Airport, Info-Prim Neo reports. Traffic Police Division spokeswoman Dana Andronic said the police found at the scene a minibus with an Italian license number that crashed into a billboard. The body of a 29-year-old man was taken from inside. Eyewitnesses said the minibus was speeding. It was driven by another person, while the young man was a passenger. The owner of the vehicle was identified shortly. He said he entrusted the minibus to the man who was found dead. One evening earlier, a VAZ-21011 car driven by a 22-year-old man went on the opposite-direction lane to overtake a car and collided head-on with a minibus on the Chisinau-Otaci road. Both of the drivers and three passengers from the VAZ sustained serious injuries. One of the drivers aged 21 died in the hospital in Edinet several hours later.
