Two young people killed in road accident in Cricova

Two young men lost their lives in a traffic accident at the exit of Cricova town last night. Paulina Iakimovski, of the Traffic Police Division's PR department, told Info-Prim Neo that the accident happened at 1.30 at the intersection of the streets Chisinau and Alexei Mateevici. A speeding Mercedes driven by a 21-year-old man from Ungheni skidded and went into a tree growing by the roadside. The driver and a passenger aged 28 from Orhei died on the spot. An inebriated 25-year-old driver lost control of his Honda, which overturned. The man suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma and a wound in the occipital region. The accident happened in Causeni town. A car was struck from behind by another car in Anenii-Noi district. A 29-year-old passenger of one of the cars suffered injuries. Two persons were killed and two injured in three road accidents in Moldova last night. There were also reported 29 accidents without victims.
