Moldova’s Under-19 national football squad were defeated by Albania’s team 4-3 in the second match of the 2013 European Championship qualifiers. The main evens took place in the second half of the game. The Moldovans led two times after Artur Ionita scored two goals, but Hungary tied every time. The third goal for the team coached by Sergiu Chirilov was scored by Radu Gansari. Moldova finished the game with ten players as Mihai Platica was sent off. It is the second defeat suffered by the Moldovan squad in as many matches played in the qualifying round. The team rank last with zero points. In another game of preliminary group 6, Russia beat Poland 2-0. The next encounters will take place on October 6 and 7. Moldova will meet Russia, while Portugal – Poland.
