Moldova is among the 16 countries that are to be excluded from UK's aid list after a governmental inquiry found that these countries were no longer poor, according to the Daily Mail's online publication. Besides Moldova, the list includes Russia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Serbia. The inquiry which stood at the basis of this decision was ordered by International Development Secretary Andrew Mitchell. At the same time, UK's total expenses on aid will rise from £7billion to £11billion by 2015. The aid money will be re-directed to countries like Yemen and Somalia to help them fight terrorism. Also, India will continue to receive British aid, despite it being able to run its own space program.
