The young man from Ungheni, who was diagnosed with AH1N1, died at the National Clinical Hospital on the afternoon of February 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the National Clinical Hospital, the 26-year-old man was transferred from the Ungheni district hospital to Chisinau on January 24 with the diagnosis of severe bilateral pneumonia and AH1N1 flu. He died as a result of acute cardiorespiratory insufficiency and pulmonary embolism. The young man is the second person in Moldova who died of flu this year. A woman of 61 from Floresti district died from AH1N1 last week. More than 50 cases of seasonal flu have been recorded so far this year. Over 30 cases of them were identified in Ungheni district.
