Union Fenosa might be sued

SA Termocom could sue Union Fenosa after it assesses the damage caused by Saturday's accident, when a number of pumping stations stopped work and a pipe broke open as a result of a power failure. At Monday's meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said time has come for Termocom and Union Fenosa to regulate their relations by court, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Termocom sustains unjustified losses following power failures. The Chisinau budget cannot and should not cover this damage,” Dorin Chirtoaca said. The commercial director of SA Termocom Mihai Arusoi said this is the second serious accident caused by failures in the power lines managed by Union Fenosa. “We will assess the damage and take a decision,” he said. The hot water that flowed through the break in the pipe on Sunday flooded a house, a street and several gardens on Drumul Crucii St in Chisinau.
