The public association “Honor, Dignity and Homeland” (ODIP) considers the Socialist MPs’ initiative to question the chiefs of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Security and Intelligence Service and the Ministry of the Interior about the latest unionist events represents intimidation in relation to the unionists, IPN reports, quoting a statement of the organization.
“We again witness intimidation in KGB style! We will not yield to those who do not respect their origins, culture, language and identity. The campaign for the union that is now carried out is perfectly legal, declared and authorized by the state institutions. ODIP will not kneel down and will not abandon the assumed path – that of Moldova’s Union with Romania,” said the association’s head Vlad Biletski.
On June 17, at the initiative of the Socialists, Parliament decided to question the heads of the three institutions about the awareness-raising campaign on the union launched by ODIP.
The association “Honor, Dignity and Homeland” is an apolitical, non-profit organization that aims to educate a generation of active young people by promoting the national values and culture of Romania.
